Lille Hus in Mainz

Delicious food, delicious café ... very cozy and personal. The Lille Hus is one of our absolute favorite cafés in Mainz.

Great shop and concept. Somebody put a lot of love into this. You can have a great breakfast here in the middle of the most beautiful part of the old town. For breakfast you should either make a reservation or be there very early after the shop opens. Currently only picking up cakes and freshly baked cinnamon buns.

Great breakfast and the bread was the absolute hammer of taste. Anyone who knows Mainz knows that there is now a very large selection of localities that bring good quality to the table at correct prices - one of these benchmarks is “Big Lilli Gutes Kind”, and with “Lille Hus” there is now one great counterpart in town. Conclusion: breakfast great (no discount groceries), bread very cool and the cappuccino was also in the upper segment! - However, it is negative that you do not just get a seat at Lille Hus because it is well frequented.

Waited 20 minutes for a waitress, at the end of the day I was told that the EC machine didn't work, walk to the bank and back ... as a gesture of goodwill one could have got at least a cinnamon roll on the house or something similar.

In the middle of the picturesque old town. Very cute, tasty and quite quick. Unfortunately, special requests or changes were not implemented

Very friendly service in a cozy backyard near the cathedral. Food (salad bowl and Smörebrød) were delicious and very fresh.

Definitely recommended ? Delicious and fresh breakfast that is very nicely presented. The service is nice and the courtyard is super nice.

best coffee shop

The worst experience for a Sunday morning! #worst_service_ever!! We were seated outside, without being told that they have a huge problem with bees. The food came, the appearance was ok (tastwise we didn’t had the chance to try) and 12 bees came immediately on our table. We asked politely to be seated inside but they were full. We kindly waited 40 minutes and then we informed the waitress that we wanted to go und we would take everything to go. She came outside with aluminum foil und told us we have to do it by ourself. We told her that it is impossible with so many bees, and we asked her to do it inside. She then responded to us with the worse manner and inappropriate tone, that if we don’t do it, she will take a really long time to prepare it. We asked to speak to the manager, he came with the food prepared in 3 Minutes, and not in aluminum foil.

Very delicious breakfast, lovingly prepared with lots of fresh berries and fruit, plus delicious fresh bread and rolls.

Very tasty breakfast with a reasonable selection to suit all tastes. You can sit very nicely in the inner courtyard (if the wasps leave you alone) We'd love to come back :)

The waitresses are super attentive and very nice. You can sit comfortably between flowers in the back yard. The food is very tasty, fresh and a lot of offers for vegans. Can only be recommended!

Such a sweet and cozy cafe. Great facility, very nicely located in the middle of the city and very nice staff. Here you get not only good coffee but also something new to try, e.g. homemade golden milk. We recommend.
